Hong Kong · Residence in Mayfair By the Sea
A detached house facing the sea can be found in Pak Shek Kok, a new development area in the Hong Kong New Territories between the urban areas of Tai Po and Tai Wai. For many years, the owner of the renovated house has lived in Canada and Hong Kong. After extensive communication with the owner, the design team finally gave the space a natural and homely atmosphere for family life to meet her needs.
The project is a rare low-density luxury residence by the sea, surrounded by the expansive sea of Tolo Harbour and overlooking the Pat Sin Leng mountains. The house is hidden in the green mountains, facing the shimmering sea under the blue sky, a clear contrast to the densely populated urban area. The owner of the house wishes to live near the water in a harbor, so the space is designed with the spirit of living in seclusion in the city without rushing or slowing down, with a calm and peaceful atmosphere.
The decor is exactly what the owner envisioned in her heart: a return to nature and a poetic life hidden in the bay. We always strive for a beautiful life that is within our grasp.
